    My mother’s 95th birthday is Wednesday, April 27th. She was so much more than ’s wife and widow. Global leader, peace advocate, human rights activist, founder of (less than 3 months after my father was assassinated). Will you join me in ?

    TW: Just got line edits for one of my manuscripts and realizing the imagery I use to build the world of my grandmother’s dementia evokes suicidal energy. And, in a way I guess dementia does take on suicidal qualities. It was as if her brain was both victim and assassin…

    season comes to a close, & I am overwhelmed with gratitude for how God met my family’s sacrifices with an shower of blessings. We fasted & prayed as a unit for very specific requests… & God showed out. Lent truly sets the tone for a yr of discipline in discipleship.
