Highlights from the on-screen presentation of ITV's regional news service for London prior to the December 2009 rebrand. Includes examples of opening titles, theme music, headline bed, presenters, correspondents, astons, DOGs, weather forecasts and live two-ways as well as studio interviews and set design. Unlike the other regional news programmes on ITV the London service is not made by the local franchise holder (ITV London), but produced by the network's national news provider ITN. As a result, its roster of presenters comprises established names from network news including Alastair Stewart, Katie Derham, James Mates, Geraint Vincent, Nina Hosain and Bill Neely. Also included in this clip is a rare appearance by Mark Austin fronting a lunchtime summary on 15 December 2009, plus a live two-way with Granada Reports correspondent Andrew LInsday at Old Trafford in Manchester.
