It was a good opportunity for Goris to step out of his daily work and think about marketing in a more strategic way. ESSEC Professors really challenged the participants about their traditional way of doing marketing. By comparing successful brands and analyzing successful stories, they helped participants think about their brand in a different way. The training was a good opportunity to meet great and inspiring people from different industries. The training also dealt with luxury brand marketing to the Chinese market and that is pivotal considering the emergence of the luxury industry in China.
