Anthony James Keith "Tony" Hymas is an English keyboard player, pianist, composer and is well known for being a founding member of PhD He is a very versatile musician and contributes in different styles of music.
Tony Hymas started as a chorister at the Exeter Cathedral and studied piano at the Royal Academy of Music.
He played with Jack Bruce in the Jack Bruce Band during 1976–78. He subsequently became one of Jeff Beck's musicians, first appearing on record with Beck on the 1980 album There & Back. Hymas would go on to work with Beck, on and off, for over twenty years writing many tunes, e.g. 'Angel Footsteps' (original title 'La Veronese') and 'Brush with the Blues' (original title 'Les evade de la nuit').
His latest works are CDs for Disques Nato: De l'origine du Monde (2010), Chroniques de resistance (2013), and, for Hope Street (Nato), an album with the band Ursus Minor I Will Not Take "But" for an Answer (2010).
Geoffrey Arnold "Jeff" Beck (born 24 June 1944) is an English rock guitarist. He is one of the three noted guitarists to have played with The Yardbirds (the other two being Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page). Beck also formed The Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice.
Much of Beck's recorded output has been instrumental, with a focus on innovative sound, and his releases have spanned genres ranging from blues rock, hard rock, jazz fusion, and an additional blend of guitar-rock and electronica. Although he recorded two hit albums (in 1975 and 1976) as a solo act, Beck has not established or maintained the sustained commercial success of many of his contemporaries and bandmates. Beck appears on albums by Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Morrissey, Jon Bon Jovi, Malcolm McLaren, Kate Bush, Roger Waters, Donovan, Stevie Wonder, Les Paul, Zucchero, Cyndi Lauper, Brian May, Stanley Clarke and ZZ Top.
He was ranked fifth in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" and the magazine, upon whose cover Beck has appeared three times, has described him as "one of the most influential lead guitarists in rock". He is often called a "guitarist's guitarist". Beck has earned wide critical praise and received the Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance six times and Best Pop Instrumental Performance once. In 2014 he received the British Academy's Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music. Beck has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice: as a member of the Yardbirds (1992) and as a solo artist (2009).

Terry John "Ted" Bozzio (born December 27, 1950) is an American drummer best known for his work with Missing Persons and Frank Zappa. He has been featured on nine solo or collaborative albums, twenty six albums with Frank Zappa, and seven albums with Missing Persons. He has been a prolific sideman, playing on numerous releases by other artists since the mid-1970s. He was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1997. His daughter, Marina, is also a drummer and a member of the heavy metal band Aldious.
Terry Bozzio was born on December 27, 1950 in San Francisco, California. He started at age 6 playing makeshift drum sets. At the age of 13 he saw The Beatles' premier performance on The Ed Sullivan Show and begged his father for drum lessons. Bozzio would later cite Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker as his main influences in the youth years. During the 1960s, he played in the garage bands Blue Grass Radio, The Yarde, and Tamalpais Jungle Mountain Boys.
In 1968 Bozzio attended Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo, California, where he received a music scholarship award, and later went on to the College of Marin. During this time he studied concurrently with Chuck Brown on the drum set and Lloyd Davis and Roland Kohloff on a percussion and timpani scholarship. He also played Bartok-Dahl-Cowell & Baroque chamber ensembles with the Marin and Napa County Symphonies.
Les Temps Nouveaux (Paris, 1871) – Tony Hymas Tony - “This commemorates the Paris Commune 1871 – an episode of equality, fairness and humanity in response to an incompetent government, which was ended by an act of betrayal. The first and second parts are based on the song ‘La semaine sanglante’ (the bloody week) which told of the massacres which followed. Part 3 is an arrangement of a song, ‘Nel Sorriso’ which I wrote for Marie Thollot (lyrics by Christian Tarting). The whole piece is compiled from music written for the disk ‘DE L’ORIGINE DU MONDE’ which celebrated the painting by Gustave Courbet and the events of the Commune.” Ref: Disques Nato 3920 (2010) - http://www.natomusic.fr/catalogue/musique-jazz/cd/nato-disque.php?id=272 Tony’s website - www.tonyhymas.com Sound – Cameron McMi...

I used to hate synths, but over the past 3 years I finally managed to get into them (mostly through Daft Punk) anyway this track is taken off the KPM LP "The Age of Discovery" Catalogue no: KPM 1235 from 1979. The track was sampled by PUTS in LA Song (Sensitive Mix) Thanks goes to SF Knight from the PUTS forum for the heads up. I hope you enjoy.
