(english version bellow) Stavka Sindikata žerjavistov pomorskih dejavnosti in protestna prekinitev dela delavcev zaposlenih pri IPS v Luki Koper poteka osmi dan. Dovolj časa, da ni več mogoče spregledati prelomnosti luške delavske akcije in njenih posledic za delavsko gibanje. Stavka in protestna prekinitev dela sta dosegli prelomno točko in ta epizoda industrijskega konflikta lahko pomeni nov zalet delavskemu gibanju, ki išče odgovor na vprašanje, kako obrniti trend umikanja in izgubljanja delavskih ter socialnih pravic. Zato se obračamo na civilno družbene organizacije in posameznike ter posameznice s pozivom, da izrazijo solidarnost z vsemi stavkajočimi, tako z delavci, ki so zaposleni pri Luki Koper kot z delavci, ki so zaposleni pri podizvajalcih. Zaposleni v Karoserijah na območju poslovne cone Tezno v Mariboru so pred dnevi, le deset dni od zamrznitve prejšnje stavke, ponovno ostali pred proizvodno halo. Pričeli so namreč ponovno stavkati, saj, kot pravijo, niso prejeli junijskih plač, prvega dela regresa za leto 2010, jubilejnih nagrad in drugih dodatkov. O vzrokih za vnovično stavko, šikaniranju s strani lastnika podjetja Franca Unuka, kot navajajo zaposleni, in podobnem, smo govorili z Dušanom Mlakarjem, predsednikom stavkovnega odbora in sindikata Skei v Karoserijah, medtem ko Unuk pred kamero ni želel. Preko njegove tajnice je namreč sporočil, da je že vse povedal.

V petek, 29. julija, so delavci Luke Koper začeli stavkati, saj so bila pogajanja o pogojih dela med njimi in upravo neuspešna. Luška uprava zdaj medije in javnost zavaja z izjavami, da je stavka neupravičena in celo nezakonita. Napačne informacije prihajajo tudi s strani Sindikata pristaniških delavcev, katerih predstavniki zavajajo, da stavka uveljavlja le interese žerjavistov, ki naj bi bili po njihovem mnenju že tako ali tako privilegirani. Resnica je povsem drugačna! Zahteve stavkajočih so več kot upravičene, saj se nanašajo na varnost pri delu in dolžino delovnega časa. Gre za to, da so življenja in zdravje delavcev pomembnejši od dobička, ki se pretaka v žepe nekaterih. On Friday, 29th of July, workers of the Koper port went on strike, since all the previous negotiations on working conditions between them and the management of the port have been unsuccessful. The management of the port has consequently undertaken a misleading public campaign, stating that the strike is illegitimate and even illegal. Incorrect information about the strike has been spread also from the side of the Union of Port Workers (Sindikat pristaniških delavcev), since its representatives argue, that the strike is pursuing the interest of only one part of the employed, namely the crane operators and their self-organized and independent Union of Crane Operators (Sindikat žerjavistov), which are, in their opinion, already the most privileged workers of the port. Stavka () was the term used to refer to a command element of the armed forces from the time of the Kievan Rus′, more formally during the history of Imperial Russia as administrative staff and General Headquarters during late 19th Century Imperial Russian armed forces and those of the Soviet Union. In western literature it is sometimes incorrectly written STAVKA in uppercase, although the word is not an acronym. The term may be applied to personnel of the military Staff, as well as to military Staff location, its original meaning from the old Russian word ставка — Tent.

, Tsarevitch Alexei and Nicholas II arriving at the Stavka]]The commander-in-chief of the Russian army at the beginning of World War I was Grand Duke Nicholas Nicholaievitch, a grandson of Tsar Nicholas I. Appointed at the last minute in August 1914, he played no part in formulating the military plans in use at the beginning of the war. He was competent, if not brilliant. Nikolai Yanushkevich was his chief of staff. In the summer of 1915 the Tsar himself took personal command, with Mikhail Alekseyev as his chief of staff.

Stavka of the RKKA during World War II
Stavka of the Soviet Armed Forces during World War II, or the headquarters of the "Main Command of the Armed Forces of the Union of SSR" (Stavka Glavnogo Komandovaniya) (), was established on June 23, 1941 by the top secret decree signed by Joseph Stalin in his capacities both as the head of government and as the leader of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. According to this decree Stavka was composed of the defence minister Marshal Semyon Timoshenko (as its president), the head of General Staff Georgy Zhukov, Stalin, Vyacheslav Molotov, Marshal Kliment Voroshilov, Marshal Semyon Budyonny and the People's Commissar (Narkom) of the Navy Admiral Nikolai Gerasimovich Kuznetsov.The same decree organized at Stavka "the institution of permanent counsellors of Stavka" : Marshal Kulik, Marshal Shaposhnikov, Kirill Meretskov, head of the Air force Zhigarev, Nikolay Vatutin, head of Air Defence Voronov, Mikoyan, Kaganovich, Lavrenty Beria, Voznesensky, Zhdanov, Malenkov, Mekhlis.
Very soon afterwards the deputy defence minister army Meretskov was arrested following the false charges by Beria and Merkulov. Meretskov was subsequently released from the jail and on the same day at the end of the first week of September 1941 was called for by Stalin.
Stavka of the Main Command was reorganised into the Stavka of the Supreme Command (Stavka Verkhovnogo Komandovaniya) on July 10, 1941. On August 8, 1941 it was again reorganised into Stavka of the Supreme Main Command (Stavka Verkhovnogo Glavnokomandovaniya).
On the same day were instituted the commands of Strategic Directions.
