The Bled agreement (also referred to as the "Tito—Dimitrov treaty") was an agreement signed on the 1 August 1947 in Bled, SR Slovenia, FPR Yugoslavia. It was signed by Georgi Dimitrov, Bulgarian leader, and Josip Broz Tito, Yugoslav leader, which paved the way for future unification between the states in a new Balkan Federative Republic. It also foresaw the unification of Vardar Macedonia and Pirin Macedonia and the return of Western Outlands to Bulgaria. The agreement abolished visas and allowed for a customs union. It was also the first time that Bulgaria recognised Ethnic Macedonians and the Macedonian language.

These agreements mark the mutual aspirations and efforts to develop new relations between the two countries. They agreed that the government will take over NR Bulgaria to ensure the rights of Macedonians in Pirin Macedonia (now Blagoevgrad region) in free national economic and cultural development.

The Bled was accepted with the Treaty on Friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance between Yugoslavia and the People's Republic of Bulgaria, signed and published in Evksinograd. The treaty contains: several of the Agreement on economic cooperation, on customs facilitation, agreement for preparation of a customs union, the facilitation of border crossings, border crossing on the border of population and of the citizenship between the two countries. The Yugoslav Government negotiated in the conference of Bled that Bulgaria would waive $25 million in war damages owed by Yugoslvia.

Bled (German: Veldes) is a town and a municipality in northwestern Slovenia in the region of Upper Carniola. The area, within the Julian Alps, is a popular tourist destination.

A settlement area since Mesolithic times, Bled was first mentioned as Ueldes (Veldes) within the March of Carniola on April 10, 1004, when it was awarded by Emperor Henry II to Bishop Albuin I of Brixen. Bled Castle was first mentioned in a 22 May 1011 deed in which Henry II donated it to Albuin's successor, Bishop Adalberon of Brixen. With Carniola, Bled was ceded to Rudolph of Habsburg after he defeated King Ottokar II of Bohemia at the Battle on the Marchfeld in 1278. From 1364 until 1919, Bled (Veldes) was part of the Duchy of Carniola, except for a stint between 1809 and 1816 as one of the Napoleonic Illyrian Provinces

After the dissolution of Austria-Hungary in 1918, Bled came under the rule of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and became a summer domicile of the ruling House of Karađorđević, a tradition that President Josip Broz Tito continued, when he built his residence here in 1947. Bled became an independent municipality in 1996. In 2000, Bled became the home of IEDC-Bled School of Management.

Majda Sepe (July 2, 1937-April 11, 2006) was one of the most successful and well recognized Slovenian singers for the time of Yugoslavia.

Majda Sepe was born in Ljubljana, where she also grew up. There is not a lot of information about Majda's childhood and her early life. However, music was an integral part of her entire youth and her later years.

Her music career began early. She has studied singing in Music School in Ljubljana. At the time she was 19 years old, she made a music performance in Paris, France with Ljubljana Jazz Musicians. For years later, in 1960, she joined Jazz Festival in Bled. Jazz and Chanson became her favourite sorts of music. Majda Sepe's name is very strongly connected with Slovenian most recognized and famous music festival, Slovenska popevka. She joined this music competition for the first time in 1962, when the festival was just starting up. She used to appear on Slovenska popevka every year until 1977, only missing out in year 1968.
Majda performed some of the greatest hits of the Festival and soon, she became a well known and popular Slovenian performer. She worked together with her husband, a famous Slovenian composer and song writer, Mojmir Sepe. He still writes lyrics for Slovenian singers and together with Majda, they made a perfect team: she, as a talented singer, and he as a successful song writer.
