Badal (, }}) is a 2000 Bollywood movie directed by Raj Kanwar. The film stars Bobby Deol and Rani Mukerji in lead roles. The movie is set in 1984 when riots were engulfing parts of Punjab and Delhi. The movie is inspired by The Devil's Own, starring Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford.
His love interest in the movie is Rani (Rani Mukerji). Badal doesn't want anything to do with Rani, as he doesn't know what fate has lined up for him and he has his vendetta to settle. Rani's persistence, however, causes Badal to eventually give in to her love. After several twists and turns he meets the treacherous Jai Singh Rana who has now become a DIG.

Junaid Jamshed (}}; born September 3, 1964) is a Pakistani recording artist who gained fame as the frontman of the pop group, Vital Signs in 1987 with the hit song, Dil Dil Pakistan, and remained in demand throughout the 1990s. In 1994, he released his debut solo album, Junaid of Vital Signs, which also quickly became a national hit, followed by Us Rah Par in 1999 and Dil Ki Baat in 2002.
Since then, he has focused on Islam and concentrated on reciting nasheeds. His debut religious album, Jalwa-e-Janan was released in 2005 and was followed by Mehboob-e-Yazdaan in 2006, Badr-ud-Duja in 2008, and Badee-uz-Zaman in 2009. He also runs a boutique with the name "J.", read as "Jay Dot", which has several outlets all over Pakistan.
However, Rohail and Shahzad soon managed to convince him otherwise. and devoted a significant amount of his time to preaching Islam. Jamshed now sings Urdu and English nasheeds.

Shammi Kapoor (, ), born 21 October 1931 in a Punjabi Khatri family, is an Indian film actor and director. He was a prominent lead actor in Hindi cinema during the late 1950s and 1960s.
He was given the name Shamsher Raj Kapoor at his birth in Mumbai to film and theatre actor Prithviraj Kapoor. Shammi was the second of the three sons born to Prithviraj (the other two being Raj Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor), both of whom were, like their father, successful Bollywood actors. Though he was born in Mumbai, he spent a major portion of his childhood in Kolkata, where his father was involved with New Theatres Studios, acting in films. It was in Kolkata only that he did his Montessory and Kindergarten. After coming back to Mumbai, he first went to St. Joseph's Convent (Wadala) and then, to Don Bosco School. Shammi Kapoor finished his schooling from New Era School, at Hughes Road.
Shammi Kapoor is hailed to be the one of the finest actors that Hindi cinema has ever produced. He was the leading star of Hindi cinema during the late 1950s as well as the 1960s. One of the successful sons of film and theatre actor Prithviraj Kapoor, Shammi was extremely versatile as an actor. He debuted in Bollywood in 1953, with the film Jeevan Jyoti and went on to deliver hits like Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Dil Deke Dekho, Junglee, Dil Tera Diwana, Professor, China Town, Rajkumar, Kashmir Ki Kali, Janwar, Teesri Manzil, An Evening in Paris, Bramhachari, and Andaz and Vidhaata. He received the Filmfare Best Actor Award in 1968 for his performance in Brahmachari and Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for Vidhaata in 1982.

Tiff Lacey (aka Tiffany Lacey) is a singer/songwriter from Crayford, Kent, England, and the vocalist behind many trance and house hits. Notable collaborators include Paul Oakenfold, ATB, George Acosta, First State, Filo & Peri, Cosmic Gate, Bobina, Andrew Bennett, Aly & Fila, Headstrong, Moonbeam, Carl B and many more. She's known for the fact that she writes the lyrics to all the songs she sings.
Her collaboration track with Tenishia called "Burning From The Inside" won the award Best Dance Tune 2008 at the Malta Music Awards.
Lacey's first solo single called "Someone Like You" was released in the summer of 2009, including remixes by Timothy Allan, Matt Lange, and James Nelson. A second one called "Show Me The Way" was released on 14 December 2009, with remix package provided by Ivan Spell and Gabriel Lukosz.
In January 2010, a collaboration with American DJ George Acosta titled "I Know" became one of the biggest hits of her career. In September 2010, her collaboration with Andrew Bennett called "Say Your Prayers" was released. Lacey's third collaboration single with Matt Darey called "Into The Blue" premiered on his radio show "Nocturnal" in September and received rave reviews from listeners and fans. A second collaboration with After Meridian called "New Horizon" was included in "Balearic Chillout Essentials Volume 1" compilation in October.
The busy schedule of the singer includes upcoming follow ups to her smash hits with Marco Torrance, Nick Murray, Luke Terry, Italian Mafia DJ, Michael Badal, and Tyler Michaud, amongst others.
Tiff Lacey announced early in 2010 that she's working on a new alias project with Robert De Fresnes called "Seven Sisters". At the end of December Cubit Recordings posted a snippet of Seven Sisters' upcoming track "Healing" on Facebook. The Vinny Callario remix of the tune was included on the release "Club:Luvin' Volume 1" and the label also confirmed a whole single release soon.

She has led the Indian Film Censor Board. In December 2005 she was chosen as an UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.) and Dimple Kapadia (in Bobby, 1973), but established Tagore's role as somewhat of a sex symbol in Bollywood. Wearing a bikini put her name in the Indian press as one of Bollywood's ten hottest actresses of all time, and was a transgression of female identity through a reversal of the state of modesty, which functions as a signifier of femininity in Bombay films. But, when Tagore was the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification, she expressed concerns about the rise of the bikini in Indian films.
Samanta later teamed up Tagore with Rajesh Khanna for movies such as Aradhana (1969) and Amar Prem (1972), where played the role of Pushpa, the courtesan in city of Kolkata, again opposite Rajesh Khanna, who himself gave his often quoted dialogue in the film, "Pushpa I hate tears..". Other directors paired them together in Daag (1973), Maalik (1972) and Safar (1970). She starred in Gulzar's 1975 film, Mausam, and she played a supporting role as heroine Sarita Choudhury's mother in Mira Nair's 1991 film Mississippi Masala.

Kavi Pradeep is known for his patriotic song, Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo, written as tribute to the soldiers who had died defending the country, during the Sino-Indian War. The song was famously performed live, by Lata Mangeshkar, in the presence of Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru at the Ramlila grounds, New Delhi, on Republic Day, 26 January 1963 , and moved him to tears .

He next film was "Bandhan" (1940), produced by S. Mukherjee and directed by Gyan Mukherjee, and music by Saraswati Devi. This time he wrote all the songs which became huge hits. The Most notable is "Chal chal re naujawan", which made waves since the Indian freedom movement was at a crucial juncture

Yusuf Khan () (born 11 December 1922), popularly known as Dilip Kumar () is an Indian actor and a former Member of Parliament. He lives in Pali Hill in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra.
Starting his career in 1944, Kumar has starred in films of the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s and 1980s. He was the first actor to receive a Filmfare Best Actor Award and holds the record for most number of Filmfare Awards won for that category. He starred in a wide variety of roles such as the romantic Andaz (1949), the swashbuckling Aan (1952), the dramatic Devdas (1955), the comical Azaad (1955), the historical romance Mughal E Azam (1960) and the social Ganga Jamuna (1961). In 1976 Kumar had a five-year break from film performances. In 1981 he returned with a character role in the film Kranti and continued his career playing central character roles in films such as Shakti (1982), Karma (1986) and Saudagar (1991) his last film was Qila in 1998. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan in 1991 and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 for his contributions towards Indian cinema.
In 1943, actress Devika Rani, who was also the wife of the founder of the Bombay Talkies film studio, Himanshu Rai, helped Khan's entry into the Bollywood film industry. Hindi Author Bhagwati Charan Varma gave him the screen name Dilip Kumar and gave him the leading role in his film Jwar Bhata (1944). Devika Rani and her husband Svetoslav Roerich spotted Khan in one of Pune's Aundh military canteens.
He also played lighthearted roles such as a swashbuckling peasant in Aan (1952) and a comic role in Azaad (1955). In 1960 he starred in the historical film Mughal-e-Azam which as of 2008 was the second highest grossing film in Hindi film history. He played the role of the Mughal crown-prince Salim.
In 1961 he produced and starred in Ganga Jamuna in which he and his real-life brother Nasir Khan played the title roles. In 1962 British director David Lean offered him the role of Sherif Ali in his 1962 film Lawrence of Arabia, but Kumar declined the part. The role eventually went to Omar Sharif, the Egyptian actor. In the mid 1960s, he played a dual role of twins separated at birth in the film Ram Aur Shyam (1967).
In the 1976 film Bairaag he played triple roles.
In 1981 he returned to film with Kranti. He went onto play character roles in films including Shakti (1982), Vidhaata (1982), Mashaal (1984) and Karma (1986). In 1993 he won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award. He was awarded the best actor in Shakti in 1982.
In 1996 he was attached to make his directorial debut with a film titled Kalinga but the film was shelved. In 1998 he made his last film appearance in Qila. His films Mughal-E-Azam and Naya Daur were fully colorized and re-released.
He was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994. In 1998 he was awarded the Nishan-e-Pakistan, the highest civilian award conferred by the government of Pakistan. He is the second Indian to receive the award. At the time of the Kargil War, Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray demanded Kumar return his Nishan-e-Pakistan, arguing that "He must return Nishan-e-Imtiaz following that country's blatant aggression on Indian soil.". Kumar refused, saying:

Since the 1990s, Ali Haider has produced over sixteen music albums of which dozens of songs were top hits and became very popular. These earned him a place among the top singers of Pakistan.
His first album was Jane Jan Sun which included the title songs of jawaniyan, and Dhoop Kinare sung along with Nayyara Noor. This album was released by EMI and is obsolete in market, however, it may be found in some collections. The 2nd album he released was entitled "Chahat". The music was given by Bunny and a song with Sadaf Munir (now Sadaf Iqbal). That album was purchased by HMV India. Two of the most popular songs from the album were "Chahat" and "Ajnabi".
With the moderate success of the his second album, he released his third album, titled Qarar, which was much better than his previous two albums. It consisted of songs such as Qarar (the title song), Shehnahee and Jadu Kiya, which went on to become top hits. The music was composed by Amir khan, Bunny and Ali Haider himself. As Haider improved so did his music, his fourth album, Sandesa produced the hit songs Purani Jeans and Sandesa. These went to the top of the charts and remained at the top for a number of weeks.
His next album, Pakola Album did moderately well with songs such as Zaalim Nazron Say and Laila making it into the charts. His sixth album, Dastaan is known to be the best album, Haider has produced since his career started. It shot straight to number one and brought him great popularity at the time. In this album he produced a variety of music genres that suited pretty much anyone. The songs responsible for his popularity were Walawai, Papa Mummi and Ranjha Heer.
After some time, Haider released the album "The Best of Ali Haider", which pretty much summoned up that he is ending his music career. The album included all his major hits and favourite songs he has produced in the past. Some of the songs included in this collection were Purani Jeans, Walawai, Qarar and Sandesa. Later he went on to released another compilation to the previous album that was entitles Sayoni.
After sometime Haider released another two albums, Saaiyan and Jadu in which he has produced quite a number of popular tracks that did prove to be successful. Haider released his 15th Album in 2007 titled "Janey Do". This album also featured three previous songs with significant modifications. The all time favourite "Purani Jeans" made a return with a hard rock format. Qarar and "Agar Pyar" from the 1993 album Sandesa were also featured.
Haider has also acted in the Lollywood film titled Chalo Ishq Larain which was released in 2002. He was also seen playing the small role of Himself in the Bollywood film Main Osama which was directed by the controversial film Maker Faisal Saif. This feature film hit the cinema halls worldwide in 2008.
His reputation of recent years has taken a hit after an alleged drunken romp with an upcoming model Neha Ahmed that led to police action after complaints from residents where this is alleged to have taken place. More recently he has quit singing.
His last music album was released on the internet named Stop and Think..? in 2009 shortly after his decision to quit music. Ali Haider donated all the proceeds from this Album to Charity.
He has since then released a religious songs album in the praise of Allah (God). His latest religious Album is Moula Dil Badal Dey, which consist of Hamds, Naats and different poetry on current situation of Muslim Ummah. He is also a Noha Khawan and has released his first Noha album in 2010, Shor Hai Mehshar Ka. He also released a Manqabat album in 2010 called Tuluh E Fiqr. He has also opened his own production with Gohar Jarchwi.
