The Daily Telegraph has long been the favourite newspaper of Sydney and New South Wales. This is because we share the aspirations and values of our readers, and a love for this city and state.
With our fresh, clean, modern design, The Daily Telegraph is better positioned than ever to deliver the best daily combination of news, sport, celebrity and business coverage, in printed and digital form.
With our new dedicated T.sections, we will deliver the best mix of health, lifestyle and entertainment news, every day of the week.
And while our convenient format is already one of our strong suits, we will make the paper even easier to navigate, with regular sections such as stars, TV listings, weather and puzzles all in the one place - and sport sitting in its rightful position at the back of the newspaper, every day.
It's that sense of understanding for our readership which has driven these changes.
Like our readers, we are optimistic and engaged. We believe we are lucky to be living in this special part of the world.
But while we celebrate moments of triumph and joy, we also champion the concerns of our readers, and engage with them on the issues which matter in their world.
More than anything, The Daily Telegraph is driven by a respect for its readers. They are smart, they are savvy, they are affluent. They are the people who decide federal elections.
Most of all, they are united by a sense of pride and happiness to be living in New South Wales. And it makes us proud and happy that we are their No.1 paper.
Official audit figures released in Sept 2010 show that on Monday to Friday The Daily Telegraph is the highest read newspaper in New South Wales, with a readership of 990,000*.
The Daily Telegraph also outstripped its rival in circulation, selling 363,399** copies, that’s an impressive margin of over 158,978**
