Big Bash branding

SOUTH Australia is the last to choose a name for its city Big Bash franchise so AdelaideNow readers are being asked to lend a helping hand.

Brisbane will be called the Heat while Sydney's teams are understood to be called the Thunder and Sixers.

The Redbacks won the last Big Bash state based league this season - to be replaced by an eight team, city based franchise competition from 20110-12.

AdelaideNow readers chose the name for Adelaide United's nickname the Reds and got it right we figure you can do it again.

The new names Cricket Australia and SA cricket are scrutinising take on "Urban-Grit" themes - moving away from the use of animals or characters.

Please vote on your favourite name for our new Twenty20 franchise.

Adelaide Rockets = We are the defence state Adelaide Royals = Queen Adelaide But I do like one posted earlier... Adelaide Cardinals = City of Churches and red.

mmmm let me think about it for a moment???? im pretty sure the REDBACKS would be a pretty good name for our new team, dont you think.
