Hills & Valley Messenger

This distribution area has two halves and histories.

Flagstaff Hill and Aberfoyle Park, in the southern half, were urbanised in the seventies and eighties.

Blackwood and Belair, in the northern half, were settled about a hundred years prior. Huge gum trees, sweeping views, native fauna and the open spaces of Belair National Park create a parochialism that insulates locals against the freezing cold winters.

The region is elevated above the Adelaide plains’ noise, but despite the countrified atmosphere, the older region is deceptively close to town.

The Hills & Valley has more readers with a household income above $100,000 than any other weekly Messenger publication.
