Wynnum Herald is one of the oldest local newspapers in greater Brisbane and has been serving the area since 1946. Wynnum is approximately 20km east of Brisbane's city heart and Wynnum and Manly are two of Brisbane's most beautiful suburbs which are the gateway to Moreton Bay. Manly boasts some of the best marina facilities around and the area is also home to the Sleeman Sports Complex which has one of the best dive pools in Australia and has hosted many memorable swimming events. The Gateway Arterial Road forms the western boundary to the newspaper area and provides easy access to and from the north and south coasts.
