The Express region boasts many tourist attractions, including Wallaman Falls, Australia’s largest single drop falls. Sugar is the lifeblood of the local economy, with Victoria and Macknade Mills last year crushing a record crop of more than 5.5 million tonnes of sugar cane.

Other key industries in the region include fishing, cattle, tropical fruits and forestry, with local tourism and retail sectors receiving a boost over the past 12 months.
