STEVE Cervaro has to be the craziest sports fan in Australia.

Mr Cervaro has spent close to $50,000 supporting Adelaide United on the road since 2003. He admits the Reds have cost him a fair chunk of his pay packet but says it's well worth the effort.

"Sometimes I think I'm mad," he said.

He'll be among the thousands at Hindmarsh Stadium on Sunday afternoon, cheering on Adelaide United who must beat Gold Coast United.

Just 1000 tickets remain on sale for the do-or-die clash. If you can't get to the game, follow it live on AdelaideNow from 4.45pm, with our barrack live blog below.
