Former Serb police general Vlastimir Djordjevic  takes his seat at the start of his initial appearance before the war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, Tuesday June 19, 2007. Djordjevic, Serbia's assistant interior minister and chief of the Public Security Department from 1997 to 2001, told the Yugoslav tribunal in The Hague he would exercise his right to delay a plea by 30 days to give him time to hire an attorney.
