Communications Security and Privacy
Welcome to the riseup.net security primer. These pages are not comprehensive, but they are a great place to start when learning about privacy and security online.
The topic of communication privacy and security is large and complex, but also very important. We suggest that you take it slow and steady, learn with friends, and seek out advice.
First, a word of advice - riseup will
never ask for your password. Anyone asking for your login and password is a scammer who is seeking to hijack your account.
Never EVER give out your riseup password!
