    Welcome to the ABC Shop Online! The instructions below provide a guide to help you with your first order.

    Purchasing

    To place your first order with us, simply browse or search our catalogue for the product(s) you wish to purchase and click the "Buy Now" button on the product page(s). When you have finished making your selection, click on the "Proceed with my order online" button in the shopping cart which will take you to the five easy steps of the check out:

    1. Sign In
    2. Delivery Details
    3. Billing Details
    4. Payment Method
    5. Review of Order

    Registering

    As a first time shopper to our web site, you may choose to register your details with us (name, email address, mailing address, and contact phone number). The main benefit of registering is that the next time you shop with us, you won't have to spend time re-entering your details. To register, choose to set a password with us in the sign in stage of the check out. If your details change, simply overwrite them on a subsequent purchase and your latest details will be updated on our database.

    Security

    Ordering ABC products online is designed to be as simple as possible while allowing maximum security and privacy for all your details.

    Your credit card details will not be stored on our server and will be transmitted to us only in encrypted form.

    Password

    If you forget your password we will send a reminder to your email address at your request.

    Click here to go straight to our Advanced Search Page, browse our interest categories or purchase a Gift Voucher.

    Cookies

    The ABC Shop Online uses "cookies". A Cookie is a small piece of code that allows us to "remember" your order and add the items to the shopping bag.

    You need to accept cookies so that the ABC Shop Online can keep your shopping items in your Shopping Bag.

    If you are uncomfortable accepting cookies you can have your browser tell you every time a web site attempts to send you a cookie. You can either accept or reject any cookie coming your way.

    Placing Your Order

    Once you have finished shopping, select one of the following options:

    • Order online with your credit card
    • Order by mail/fax with cheque or credit card

    If you have any special instructions to attach to your order, please type them in the Special Order Details field.

    • You will need to log in to proceed with your order. The system will prompt you to do this.
    • Once logged in you will be returned to your shopping bag. After checking your order proceed to the secure online order form.

    Online Orders

    • On the Online Orders form enter your delivery and Credit Card details
    • Select 'Place Order'
    • Your order will be sent for processing.
    • ABC Shop Online will send you an order confirmation via email once your order has been processed.

    Offline Orders

    • If you have chosen to mail/fax your order, an instructions page will appear.
    • You can either 'Skip These Instructions', or 'Finalise My Order' which will take you to an Offline Order Form, with your registration details already entered.
    • Fill in your delivery details, if different from your registration details.
    • Select 'Finalise Order'.
    • Use your browser to print the form.

    Freight Costs & Delivery Times

    Freight costs and delivery times vary according to:

    • the total cost of all items in your shopping bag
    • the delivery address
    • the freight option chosen

    Returns and Refunds

    We will gladly refund, credit or exchange products still in their original sale condition on presentation of the original ABC Shop Online sales docket.

    Attach the receipt of your return postage charge and we will credit your card for this amount, plus the purchase amount of your order. All returns should be sent to;

    Gift Vouchers

    Gift vouchers are the perfect way to solve those difficult gift decisions and we are now pleased to be able to offer our customers a fun and simple way to send gift vouchers – by email! ABC Shop vouchers are now available to purchase at Giftvouchers.com.

    World TV Standards & DVD

    Television standards differ throughout the world. Australia employs the PAL system in video production and television transmission (as opposed to NTSC prevalent in the United States). Please ensure you are able to play PAL standard video tapes before placing your order. Click here to view World Television Standards.

    DVDs have a built in decryption system and are coded for specific regions throughout the World. Each disc may only be able to be played on a DVD player purchased from the same region. For example a DVD disc purchased at the ABC Shop Online may not work in the United States unless played on a DVD player purchased in Australia. Australia is classified as Territory 4.
