Lolyta’s Little Moment of Win

Feb. 2, 2011

I recently got my first paycheck from my publishing company. After months of agonising and going back over my manuscript only to find what seemed to be countless errors, I now know that a few people have bought and are reading my book. The cheque was only for $60 but it more than MMD.

Ashukia’s Little Moment of Win

Feb. 2, 2011

My husband and I were low on cash (read broke) and our electric bill needed to be put on a payment plan. I took a chance and said what was happening on facebook. Our friend told us to stop by and he'd cover the 25 bucks. He handed us an envelope and we thanked him. We opened it later that evening and realized he gave us 100 bucks and a note that said we were great friends and not to pay him back. It absolutely MMD and Week.

Naki’s Little Moment of Win

I live in a 1960s-era apartment building, so the walls are thin and we hear our neighbors more than we’d like. But today, I was in the guest bedroom, and I could hear our downstairs neighbor reading Green Eggs and Ham to his little boy. Overhearing his enthusiastic reading MMD!

Myridd’s Little Moment of Win

I work at a gas station, early morning shifts, and there is this lady who had the softest looking scarf who comes in that I always compliment. Well, today is my birthday and I had to work the early shift. When I went to clock in, a bag was waiting for me with a tag that read “A customer left this for you” Inside was the scarf I always admired and a matching pair of gloves! Her act of kindness since she couldn’t know it was my birthday really MMD

Lorena’s Little Moment of Win

I’m teaching beginning English at a university in Ecuador. Today we were going over marital statuses (married, single, divorced…) and someone asked me how to say “proximamente divorciado”, which is basically someone who is in the process of getting a divorce. I told them that I couldn’t think of a set phrase we have for it, and one of them pipes up, “Coming soon?” like it was some kind of movie! We all about died laughing! IM Everyone’s D!

Momcall’s Little Moment of Win

Feb. 1, 2011

Today I was riding the subway home from work and talking to my girlfriend on the phone. I ended the call with, “I love you. Bye.” Then the 3-year-old boy sitting next to me asked, “Was that your mom?” IMMD
