A TOYOTA Supra flipped on to the roof of a police car in a bizarre crash at St Agnes.

The two Holden Hill patrol officers "were lucky to escape without injury", a police spokeswoman said, when the red Supra allegedly "drifted" around a corner, hit the median strip and flipped upside down.

The Supra landed on the roof of the police car before rolling back off.

The crash happened near intersection of North East Rd and Tolley Rd shortly after midnight.

The Supra driver, 18, suffered a minor arm injury - but his car has been written off.

He was expected to be reported for driving without due care.
