Popular opposition senatorial candidate Loren Legarda is hounded by the media as she votes in the country's local elections Monday, May 14, 2007 at suburban Malabon north of Manila, Philippines. An estimated 45 million Filipino voters are expected to troop to polling precincts to elect local and congressional candidates in elections likely to do little to ease the country's political instability amid campaign violence that has left at 116 people dead.
