There are compartments for every conceivable travel items – additional skate decks, clothing, sneakers, even a padded one for laptop. Yesterday at the New Orleans Arena, Jordan Brand and Chris Paul official unveiled the fourth signature sneaker for Paul, the Jordan CP3.IV. This evolution of the Jordan CP3 franchise is inspired by the quickness of Chis Paul’s on-court performance and on a lighter note, Gundam a Japanese anime figure also played a part in the design of the CP3.IV. In designing for the quickness of Paul, Jordan Brand footwear designers developed an innovative midsole cushioning system called Podulon (pronounced PAHD-ju-lahn), which was featured in the previous JORDAN CP.3 III installment and now carried over to the CP3.IV. After the well-received “TerryToy” Terry Richardson figure late last year, toy maker UNCLE YORK is finishing up the follow-up, a vinyl facsimiles of Mars Blackmon, Spike Lee’s alter ego and Air Jordan addict. No detailed information is given at this time except the figure will launch sometime early 2011. First debut during G-Shock’s Shock The World Tour NYC in August, the ALIFE x Casio G-Shock watch, officially designated as G5500AL-1, is a rendition of the retro-inspired G5500 series. All matte black with bold ALIFE brandings on the watch and packaging in contrast white, the timepiece features a “reverse” contrast LCD display. Limited to only 200 units worldwide, ALIFE’s flagship locations in Tokyo, Vancouver and of course, New York City, will be taking pre-order reservation starting this Saturday, December18 th. Ciara with the help of Microsoft Tag celebrated the release of her new album, Basic Instinct, at Drai’s in Hollywood, California. The twenty-five year old R&B superstar showed up to her own event rocking a pair of Air Jordan V’s from the Toro Bravo Pack that was released back in 2009.
