"Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People" has already followed in the footsteps of the animated shorts that came before it on HomestarRunner.com and made itself availlable on PC's. Its episodes have also slipped onto the Wii one at a time, where they've brightened many a console owner's day. The Telltale games release has not, however, been an easy option for PlayStation 3 and Mac owners up until now. The publisher intends to end that situation once and for all before the end of the year, though, when the gruff-voiced little luchador comes to the PSN.
Walmart's $89 Black Friday sale on DS Lites doesn't look nearly as impressive today, now that RadioShack has decided to stick $74.97 price tags on its handheld Nintendo systems both online and in-store. That means that for less than a lot of single collector's edition console games, you can now buy a fully-functional DS and presumably help the Shack make some room on its shelves for some 3DS boxes in 2011.

If none of the other fighters announced thus far for "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" have met your standards for workplace-appropriate attire or weather powers, you'll be pleased to know that C. Viper of Street Fighter series fame and Ms. Ororo Munroe of the X-Men have now been officially outed. They'll bust knuckles and miniature tornadoes against the likes of She-Hulk, Zero, M.O.D.O.K. and the rest of the huge cast next year, and when they do, you can plan on seeing generous doses of electrical current flow out of them.

If you haven't heard of "Cut the Rope," you probably haven't browsed Apple's App Store recently. Nipping at the heels of the "Angry Birds" juggernaut is another physics-based puzzler wherein you try to feed candy to a greedy (yet adorable) monster by, wait for it, cutting the rope. Like "Angry Birds," it's another example of a really well-made game that is way under-priced, thus keeping it at the top of the charts. Since its release, "Cut the Rope" has seen several free updates, which have added new levels, Retina Display graphics and Game Center achievements.
Traditionally, water has been used as an element of a game, and not the central character, but Curve Studios' Nintendo published WiiWare game "Fluidity" is looking to change all that. Borrowing some influence from science class, "Fluidity" lets H2O, and all of its different states of matter, take center stage in this non-traditional, motion controlled puzzler.

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" contained an adventure filled with illicit acts, crimes and punishable offenses, but a backup singer from Cypress Hill believes that he's found an element within the game that's worthy of a lawsuit against Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two Interactive. Michael "Shagg" Washington claims that Rockstar ripped off his likeness and details from his life to create "San Andreas" star Carl "CJ" Johnson, and he's filed a complaint in a Los Angeles Superior Court stating that much and more.

Actor Mark Wahlberg and director David O. Russell have be siphoning so much Uncharted energy away to the film adaptation lately that it would be totally reasonable for you to have forgotten there's still a video game series coming out. Sony and Naughty Dog haven't forgotten, however, and even if they aren't pumping sequels out with the annual frequency observed by the Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed series, they do plan on getting "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" out in 2011.

Blizzard has always been really, really good about keeping secrets. Sure, a few rumors might swirl before a BlizzCon or a major game release, but more often than not, no one really knows what to expect from the mega-developer behind "World of WarCraft," "StarCraft 2" and "Diablo 3." This past week may have shattered their relatively untarnished secret-keeping record, however, as their release schedule for the next five years seems to have been leaked. Adding insult to injury, it appears that an early version of the "StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm" ending cinematic has also been leaked. Yikes.

10-year plans are popular this month. First, Ubisoft talked about a decade's worth of intentions for Assassin's Creed, and now Electronic Arts is talking about just as many years for one game — "Star Wars: The Old Republic." The topic came up as EA CFO Eric Brown was addressing his "Old Repulic" outlook at the UBS Annual Media and Communications Conference in New York where expressed hopes that the MMO will last into 2021 (assuming a Spring 2011 release).

Kratos crashed one fighting game party last year, when he nabbed a guest appearance in "Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny," and it now looks like he's going to be stepping up the violence for his return trip to the genre in "Mortal Kombat." The importance of this news in turn was reportedly not lost on original "God of War" visionary David Jaff.
