HE was runner-up in the 2010 Cleo Bachelor Of The Year contest but TV dude James Tobin wants to get off the market - and is on the hunt for love.
The Weekend Sunrise weatherman - who is about to front his own prime-time TV show - told Confidential he'll spend his summer break looking for a girlfriend.
"I've had a really busy year and particularly in the last four months with no time for myself," he said yesterday.
"But summer is here and I'll be getting some time off, so what better time for me to be looking for a great girl?
"I am definitely on the market and looking for true romance."
However he won't be looking just around his Sydney base - Tobin will be spending the next seven weekends reporting weather on Weekend Sunrise from all parts of Australia.
"If I can't find a girlfriend in the whole of Australia then there's definitely something wrong with me," he said.
Tobin, who was linked to model Kyna Treacy after they were caught smooching while at the Melbourne Cup, will report from the locations featured in his new Seven series No Leave, No Life which will make its debut at 6.30pm on Saturday night.
It features various workers who have accrued leave of between five weeks and five months being surprised by their bosses, partners and Tobin - who then takes the worker and partner on a week-long holiday.
Destinations included Broome, Byron Bay, Uluru, Hamilton Island and the ACT.
"The ACT turned out to be one of the best episodes and the producers were stoked that we came home with family-friendly footage, and not the X rated stuff which usually comes out of there," he joked about the capital's famous porn movie and X-rated videos industry.
