Britney Spears threatens legal action over domestic violence allegations

BRITNEY Spears' management says the singer is preparing to take legal action over reports that her boyfriend had viciously beaten her.
Star magazine was the first to claim that the troubled pop star had been abused by Jason Trawick, alleging he had given the singer a black eye and that he had cheated on her with a teenager.
Entertainment website Radar Online has now posted phone recordings where a woman - reportedly Spears - claims that Trawick had “beat on me.”

The conversation is purportedly with Jason Alexander, the man whose quickie marriage to Spears in 2004 lasted just 55 hours.
It was Alexander who told Star magazine the chart topper had confessed about being assaulted in a phone conversation between the pair.
