MY CAT BELONGS TO DADDY

Here's a little gem I recently uncovered that was just too silly not to share with y'all.

Released courtesy of Beacon Records in 1957 comes 'My Pussy Belongs To Daddy'.

These 'adult' novelty records were big in the late 50's/early 60's and always good for a chuckle.  Just look at these classic song titles!

Throw this on at your next cocktail party to amuse your inner 12 year old.

A1 Faye Richmonde – My Pussy Belongs To Daddy
A2 Faye Richmonde – Sadie's Still Got The Rag On
A3 Faye Richmonde – I Want A Man To Gimme Some Luck
A4 Saul T. Peter – I Tried It Everywhere
A5 Saul T. Peter – She Sits Among The Cabbages And Peas
B1 Saul T. Peter – Don't Give Me No Goose For Christmas, Santa
B2 Angelina      – He Forgot His Rubbers
B3 Miss Dee      – Hey Mister Ice Man!
B4 Miss Dee      – Things Are Soft For Grandma

BOGDAN RACZYNSKI'S '96 DRUM N BASS CLASSIXXX

I have been meaning to get this ripped and posted forever.

In order to save time, I always look around the Blogoverse before I go through the effort of ripping and tagging vinyl. As far as I know, there are no proper copies of this anywhere.

For some odd reason, all versions of the enigmatic Bogdan Raczynski's even more enigmatic '96 Drum N Bass Classixxx are at the wrong speed (to my ears). Even the version I heard direct from Rephlex was recorded at 45rpm as opposed to the far superior 33rpm.

According to Discogs, only 300 copies of this little gem were pressed. I am going to be selling this (along with all of my other records). If you are interested, let me know. In the meanwhile, enjoy this rarefied Jungle classic.

THE SECRET WEAPON'S YOUR MIND

As Humans and other more evolutionarily advanced entities, our Brain is our most important asset.

The most important thing you own is your own Brain. Without it, you ain't nothing. Without your fantastic Brain you would not be able to breathe, fuck, read, funk, swim, dance, advance, or make romance.

I have always found it odd that so many people devote so much time and Energy to physical fitness whilst neglecting thee old bean. That's insanity. Ok, you can bench 500 pounds, but if you don't take care of your mind, you will be benching 500 pounds in the nursing home waiting for your diaper to be changed. That ain't cool.

With relatively recent advances in neurological studies and old timey Ayurvedic Wisdom, We have the means to really take amazing care of our grey matter.

Since the 70's there has been lots of just-under-the-radar research done on Nootropics (Smart Drugs). These supplements have been conclusively shown to keep the Brain from aging, while simultaneously increasing focus, clarity, and overall performance.

For the last three weeks I have been taking two supplements that have exhibited dramatic increases in my cognitive funcitoning. I have been calmer, clearer, more focused, sharper, more energized, and better. My dreams have become much more vivid and my Music and Writing are better than ever.

Here is some basic information about Nootropics. I implore you to explore. These supplements can help you gain an evolutionary edge and prosper. I am for real with this.

The two supplements I have been taking are described here--> MindCare + PowerThought.

I would be curious to see how my fellow Humans and Aliens do with these secret weapons, don't be shy, I want to get a dialogue going here.

We could all seriously benefit from some painless upgrades.

Let's be Leaders.

Peace!

Don't be shy, We can really go places!

FOOTWORK? HOW BOUT DETROIT STYLE BOOTYWORK!

Me and my girls have been bumpin' this shit steadily lately, and the asses have most definitely been shakin'. This is a re-up, but damn son, you NEED this for your summer parties and BBQ's. This is guaranteed to make any and all asses shake.

This shit takes me back...

One of the things I miss most from Detroit is the incredible weekend night radio throwdowns from 97.9 and 105.9. These days, radio pretty much sucks ass. However, back in the day on Friday and Saturday nights in and around Detroit city, speaker boxes and asses would shake to the raw booty driven electro and ghetto tech thrown down with mad skills by some ill ass turntable warriors.

The Legacy was begat by the infamous Mojo and carrried on by a gang of otha funk brothas. Here is a booty-drippin' ghetto-tech ass-travaganza from none other than DJ Assault. Pitch that shit up to +8, crank up the bass, and watch those panties drop, son!

THE C0ATHANGA STR4NGLA!

Courtesy of Strange Records, it's underground legend and horrorcore Godfater, Brotha Lynch Hung's 6th album, his latest murderous masterpiece 'CoatHanga Strangla', and it's a banga.

As usual, Brotha Lynch Hung puts it down real grimy and twisted.  Hung is surprisingly underknown for how sick of a flow he has.  BLH seems to have a bigger following in the South, which makes sense, seeing that he reps Houston.

In the last few years, all of music- especially Hip Hop has become much more independent.  It is imperative that we show these independent labels our support by purchasing their products and going to the shows.

Whether it's buying CD's, vinyl, shirts, DVD's, or posters, it is absolutely essential that we put our money where our mouths are and support these Artists.  They are putting their blood, sweet, and tears into these products.

Now, when you buy CD's directly from an independent label or the Artist, they are getting virtually all of that money, as opposed to the pennies they would see from a major label just a few years ago.

You may think I am contradicting myself by saying this on my blog which offers music to download.  However, if you pay attention, you will notice that very little of what I have posted is still in print or readily available.

Occasionally I do post current, on-the-market product, but that is only because I want a certain Artist to be heard, and I usually have their permission to post what shows up on here. (I have been asked a few times to remove links by the Artist (DJ Shadow, Crispin Glover, and Foetus), and I have always complied)

You may have also noticed some of your favorite blogs vanishing overnight.  This happens when one thoughtlessly puts up links to copyrighted music.  So fellow bloggers, be careful.  Fellow blogwalkers, be conscious of what exactly you are doing.  There is a war being fought right now, but it's not totally apparent to most.  Expect it to increase in intensity and frequency of battles. God speed.

ULTRAMAN7000 AND FINALLEVEL ARE THE ANALOG BROTHERS

Here's a crazy little slept on gem boasting quit a bit of Star Power.

Under the cover of sneaky aliases such as 'Ice Oscillator', 'Keith Korg', 'Mark Moog', 'Silver Synth', 'Rex Roland', and 'Odd Oberheim', experimental Hip Hop crew the 'Analog Brothers' dropped 'Pimp To Eat' in 2000 on Ground Control Records.

Just who are these mysterious analog pimps?

None other than Kool Keith, Ice T, Marc Live, Black Silver, and Pimpin' Rex!

Check out Ice Oscillator and Keith Korg in full effect on 'More Freaks'.

HEAVY METAL PARKING LOT

Seeing Iron Maiden in Tampa on Sunday made me think of this, cuz some things never change.  Such as a typical heavy metal parking lot...

In the future, when Anthropologists examine the ancient past, they will most certainly be perplexed and amazed by the fascinating style and antics of many 20th century subcultures.

Certainly one of the most entertaining and awesome of these groups is the 80's Metalhead. Known for it's brilliant fashion sense, lust for beer, and kicking ass, this species is predisposed to the mullet, drinking, and heavy fucking metal.

They can often be found at local malls, parent's basements, the van down by the river, and parking lots.

In order to procure authentic observations, it's important to observe
exotic cultures in their natural habitat.

Where better to examine the 1980's Metalhead than in a parking lot before a Judas Priest concert?

Fortunately for future generations, John Heyn and Jeff Krulik descended upon the Capitol Centre's parking lot in Landover, Maryland on May 31, 1986 with a video camera and blessings from the Metal Gods.

The result? Heavy Metal Parking Lot!

Kruilk and Heyn managed to capture some the best-ever footage of Metalheads being Metalheads in their natural environment.

This is a truly incredible, National Geographic-worthy document that belongs in the Smithsonian.

There's not too much I can say about this, the footage speaks for itself.

For the sake of future Anthropologists, obnoxious hipsters, and groovy people everywhere, I have uploaded this amazing document in it's entirety.

Please enjoy and remember that repeat
viewings will provide optimal enlightenment.

God speed.

R.I.P. GURU

R.I.P. Guru.

Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal.

A year ago we lost one of the great ones.

Guru, known to his mother as Keith Elam, left this mortal coil on April 19, 2010 following his long battle with multiple myeloma.

For those that don't know, Guru is best known as the MC half of masterful Hip Hop duo Gang Starr along with DJ Premier.

Gang Starr were an essential fixture of Hip Hop's Golden Age, releasing 6 albums, including two of the 90's best ('Daily Operation' and 'Hard To Earn').

For those that knew Guru personally or as an Artist, this is a huge loss. Words are not adequate to express who I feel right now, I think it's best to let the Man speak for himself.

Below, I have uploaded an 3+ hour unmixed, 55 track compilation that showcases some of Guru's timeless Mic skills.

Rest In Peace.

RUN TO THE HILLS! ELECTRO MAIDEN!

In honor of the Iron Maiden concert I am attending tonight is this classic repost...
Straight out the Netherlands comes this twisted joint from never never land, an Electro tribute to Iron Maiden.
Huh?
You heard me correctly.
An Electro tribute to Iron Maiden!
Does it work?
Sometimes.
This obviously isn't something one would want to listen to everyday.

However, it's always good to have a few of these tracks in your bag of tricks for when you want to freak the party out.

If you are a fan of Iron Maiden and Electro, you really need this.

If you aren't, I don't blame you, but you may want to check it out anyways for the shear strangeness of it all.

Peace be upon Y'all.

BUMBLECLOT '95

When my old ears happen to stumble across an errant radio station, MTV, or BET, my Brain often recoils in horror.

Overproduced synthetic beats, bling talk, and straight up garbage seem to the modus operandi of the programming powers that be.

It's almost like there is a government conspiracy to perpetuate ignorance and nonsense.

Digging in the crates always provides me with a nice antidote to this sickness.

Here is a tasty treat for jaded ears.

It is perfect for those 45 minute drives.

Rugged and smooth NOT plastic and empty.

I am all about that hypnotic headnod shit.

The more I listen to this, the more I miss Nine. When he was in his prime, he fucking killed it.

Also of note is, RBX's 'Burn'. One of the illest hip hop tracks ever! That shit is sinister.

Chris Brown's favorite track is on this bad boy as well.

I am pretty sure 'Mister Mister' from Kool G Rap was the song going through Mr. Brown's funny shaped head as he beat poor Rhianna senseless.

I really dig this mix.

No bullshit, no tricks.

Just 47 straight minutes of perfectly produced rugged Hip Hop.

'95 was a good year.

Put this bitch on repeat and turn it up.

One.

P0EMS, INSULTS, BUKOWSKI, AND ME!

It is with great sadness that I tell you all that as of yesterday I am no longer working for the Lee County Library System.

This is a total bummer.

I loved working at that fine Library and helping the great people of Cape Coral

It seems fitting that I post an old classic from Charles Buk0wski this fine sunny Saturday.

Poems and Insults. I have gads of both.

In fact I am overflowing with praise, poems, and insults right now.

Being the gentleman that I am, I will refrain from hurling a cavalcade of insults.

I have great Karma so I know the Universe will take care of me

I feel kind of like Charles Buk0wski today.

For your enjoyment below is a fine recording of Charles Bukowski drunkenly beautiful poetic ramblings live in San Fran round 1973.

This recording is NOT brought to you by the Lee County Library System.

Support your local Library.

God Bless.
