I have not been in Hartford long, but during these most difficult times, I have become a strong voice, fighting to protect our schools, our seniors, our veterans and our families--many of whom suddenly need help for the very first time.
We also passed laws to stimulate job growth and to begin laying the groundwork for real property tax reform by enabling towns to share the costs of healthcare, school transportation and other expensive obligations.
There is still much to be done. Government must be made more efficient, effective and affordable. And we can never forget our neighbors in need.
It is an honor and a privilege to serve you as State Representative. I will continue working hard to do what's right for our families, our businesses and our community.

Even before she was elected to serve as State Representative, Lonnie worked tirelessly on behalf of the causes she believes in.
