Following the recent releases from Heapy, Germany Germany and French electro producer K12, THaF Records releases the High Flying EP from Mike Hindle on November 24th.

Mike Hindle is the UK resident for The Dancecast, host of The Bass Demons Radio Show and has recently been releasing remixes and original productions with Starblocks Music and Plasticage Records.

Never one to stick to the same style for too long, Mike has spent 2010 experimenting with all of the bass heavy genres including dupstep, electro and even a bit of drum & bass, to finally end up with a sound that mangles all 3 together with a bit of garage swing.

The Dancecast, available on iTunes has been a great success this year with well over 1000 downloads each month and listeners in 38 countries. This is a true labour of love for all involved and will continue to grow with each new DJ they bring in and each new mix they upload, which as always will be all different styles, from minimal and tech house to electro, dubstep and future bass.

Mike’s Bass Demons mix series and Soundcloud group has become a radio show and will start the end of November on Fnoob Underground. The show will be covering as much musical ground as possible but will loosely be tied in with the bass music theme. Guests over the next 4 shows include Yeah! Woho!, Mike Charles, Pesk and The Hats.

As we reach the end of 2010 Mike will be starting a couple of collaboration projects and also working on more of his own material, preparing to unleash a whole load of new material in the new year.

The ‘High Flying EP‘ contains 2 originals from Mike and 2 remixes from Yeah! Woho! and Godswitch. Sweden’s Yeah! Woho! has had recent releases on Simma and Freak and has his own EP coming out on Top Billin. He is up first as a guest mixer on the first bass demons show, and has plenty of new material in the pipeline. This will be Godswitch‘, also from Sweden, first release. His original material has seen positive feedback and he knows how to create great atmosphere within his tracks.

THaF Records artist Mike Hindle will be starting his new ‘Bass Demons‘ Radio Show on Sat 27th Nov 5-7pm on Fnoob Underground.

The show will be on every 4 weeks with the 1st show featuring a guest mix from Yeah! Woho! and the second Mike Charles from the Dancecast. Bass Demons will be aiming to cover as much musical ground as possible, but will all be loosely tied in with the bass music theme.

Guests over the next few months are to include Yeah! Woho!, Mike Charles, Pesk and The Hats

Following the recent releases of Heapy’s In the Party EP and Canadian indie-dance artist Germany Germany’s Radiowave, from label THaF Records, French electro producer K12 releases the Get it Dirty EP on November 10th.

Having releases lined up through Ventuno, Tapestop and Bombbeatz, the 23 year-old from Toulouse has already received rave reviews from peers, including British producer Run Riot, who said “Hard to pick a favourite. Every tune is massive!” and Punx Soundcheck said, “These basslines are sick. Total full support for the whole EP.” With remixes of the likes of Don Diablo, Robyn and Neus under his belt, the electro producer’s sleazy beats, wobbly basslines and synths compressed to deep-sea levels have been filling dancefloors in France for the past two years, and if the reception to his recent releases is anything to go by, should continue to do so for some time.

With the weight of this young, ambitious label behind it, K12’s momentum looks set to continue. THaF Records main man Ian McCoy said “THaF Records are always on the lookout for new burgeoning talents, and I’m confident that we’ve stumbled across one here. Fans of producers like Boys Noize, Toxic Avenger and Justice will really love this EP and we’re looking forward to hearing the response to this release”

Following last month’s debut release, Heapy’s In the Party EP, by new label THaF Records, Canadian indie-dance artist Germany Germany releases his third album through THaF stable.

Having previously released two albums, Distorted Disco and Electrolove, both given away for free earlier this year, prolific up-and-coming electronica producer Drew Harris who hails from Victoria, Canada, and has remixed the likes of Crystal Castles and Futurecop, as well as previously releasing ‘Pulses’ featuring German dance-punk kings Digitalism. With a heady mix of electroballadry, 8-bit and synth-pop influences, the record sounds not unlike Germany Germany’s compatriots Holy Fuck and Crystal Castles, with a melodic pop sensibility that makes him sure to appeal to a wide range of ears.

One blogger recently declared, “I have a feeling that if this guy’s jams keep improving at this pace they’ll end up saving mankind”, and the title track from Radiowave was recently included on a compilation released by dance blog Poule d’Or, alongside the likes of My Tiger My Timing and Kitsune’s Gamble & Burke. With a European tour planned for next year (with the first confirmed show, naturally, in Germany), this young burgeoning talent looks set to have a big 2011, and THaF Records are hopeful that he will go on to fulfil his huge potential.

With the weight of this young, ambitious label behind it, and The Hats & Friends blog providing a great platform for the album, Germany Germany’s momentum looks set to continue. THaF Records owner Ian McCoy said “Germany Germany is a talent that we’ve had on our radar for over a year, having received promos from him.
