There’s so much failure in this video it’s depressingly hilarious.

]That's the grin of a man now rolling in it.
France has two reasons to celebrate with their victory over the English yesterday. Pushing nostalgia aside in favor of monetary gains, they've dropped 40 years worth of adidas gear in favor of Nike, making yesterday's friendly the adidas swansong. (Photos here, tissue not supplied.)
But more to the point: in favor of the most expensive shirt deal in the game. €42.6m a year - up from €13m via adidas - they'll net for this little venture, just for wearing a swoosh instead of three stripes. (The deal will begin in January, and run through 2018.)
Can it be that easy?
Hopefully this is being paired with a soundtrack of True Colors somewhere. (The Phil Collins version, obviously.)
It's eerie how one moment can completely encapsulate a person, and this may be that moment for Cristiano Ronaldo: unquestionably exquisite footballer with all the ability in the world, but why on earth he's a team captain, we may never know.
Of course it's a team game and Portugal beat the Spanish pulp out of the reigning World Champions, so that should be enough for Cristiano, right?
(Right...)
Pink can make a very nice kit, and it needn’t have feminine tones, either. Just look at Palermo and Everton, who pull it off quite nicely. Well, Palermo does anyway; Everton’s looks radioactive.
This is Sogndal Fotball of the Norwegian Tippeligaen, and they’re apparently famous more for their unusual third kit taste than they are for the football. Which makes sense as they’ve gone completely Pepto-Bismol this year, drenched from head to toe in bright pink, looking like a walking ad for dyspepsia.
Brilliant models, too, as they capture the look of a heartburn sufferer well as they pimp their kits.

The worst things often derive from the best of intentions.
Enter Scottish third-tier club Airdrie, who simply wanted to pay homage to the soldiers of present and yore on on Remembrance Day with a commemorative gameday program. Great theory, poorly applied: the image they mistakenly used was of Nazi soldiers.
You can imagine this caused something of a stir.
