Tom FeltonMany of today's hottest celebs weren't out at clubs or parties last night, in fact, they did what so many of you did: attended a midnight screening of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1"! "Modern Family" kiddo Rico Rodriguez stayed up way past his bedtime, as he posted, "Ohh ya! Tonight I'm staying up really late, guess we all know what that means...Harry Potter midnight showing!" while Chris Colfer counted himself amongst the many excited "HP" fans when he tweeted in the wee hours, "Midnight showing of Harry Potter down!!!"

Some theaters were crazy with "Harry" fever, like the one Colton Haynes experienced. "The Gates" star told followers, "Stuff is goin down at HP7 opening night, glasses, cloaks, and hermiones be gettin buck wild! Hope I make it out … http://twitpic.com/384gst." But we doubt any theater had as amazing experience as the one Tom Felton (pictured) showed up at! Yes, Draco Malfoy himself gave moviegoers the surprise of a lifetime when he, "just randomly walked into a cinema and introduced myself to the whole cinema before harry potter started! so much fun surprising them!"

Check out the rest of Friday's best tweets from the stars, including "The Hangover 2" casting news, while Adam Levine follows in Jake Gyllenhaal's (nude) footsteps! Follow us @hollywoodcrush to get even more celebrity and pop culture news around the clock!

Could we be anymore jealous of princess-to-be Kate Middleton? Not only did the 28-year-old land a prince of a fiance, but she's got a seriously gorgeous engagement ring to prove it! Kate stepped out with Prince William this week to announce the royal engagement, and the news wasn't all that got people talking; Miss Middleton's dark blue dress set tongues wagging too. Who else caught fashion watchers' eyes this week? Why, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day! Yet, only one earned our admiration by proving her knack for effortless elegance, while the other majorly disappointed with a hairy misstep. Keep reading to see who this week's Style Superstar is!

Kate has big fashion shoes to fill as England's newest princess. After all, Will's mum, Diana, was the monarchy's unofficial fashion plate while she wore the crown, but it looks like Kate is more than prepared for her princessly duties. Case in point, her dress from the couple's engagement announcement in England on Tuesday was pitch-perfect. Kate wore a simple, dark blue, long-sleeved Issa London dress that was understated and elegant. In fact, the dress was such a hit that it sold out at British retailer Harvey Nichols in 24 hours!

The "Harry Potter" films aren't exactly known for their fashion flair, but we've definitely seen a progression of smart dressing choices over the course of the years. They didn't start out on the strongest note (oh, those Hogwarts robes!), but by the time we saw "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" we had to admit we were a little impressed.

In honor of just how far we've come since "Sorcerer's Stone," we've decided to take a look back at the best and worst fashion choices of the past seven films. Unsurprisingly, Emma Watson as Hermione Granger is on the "best" list a lot.

When John Hughes died unexpectedly in the summer of 2009, movie buffs honored his memory by waxing nostalgic about his '80s, coming-of-age tales like "The Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." And while I too adore those films, I was too young to appreciate firsthand the glory days of the Brat Pack. My movie-going experience began later, when Demi Moore had moved on to spinning clay with Patrick Swayze and Emilio Estevez was coaching Pacey Witter's rag-tag hockey team. No, the John Hughes flick that will always resonate most with me is the classic Christmas caper flick "Home Alone," which opened 20 years ago this week.

I was 8 years old when the movie hit theaters in 1990—the same age as precocious protagonist Kevin McCallister, played by blond moppet Macaulay Culkin. So many elements of this film thrilled me, not least of which were the intricate contraptions Hughes dreamed up as punishment for the bumbling burglars who tried to rob Kevin's house while his family was away on Christmas vacation in France. (We get a sneak peek of Hughes' imaginative Rube Goldberg gizmos in "Ferris Bueller." Remember his voice machine?) Anyway, I loved not only the character of Kevin—a brave, young, quasi-vigilante who spoke his mind and didn't let grown-ups push him around—but also Macaulay, who really was the cat's pajamas. I think my tween self had our entire wedding planned out, down to the "Little Mermaid" dinnerware and Scooby Doo tablecloths.

From Whitney Port to Brandy, the stars hit up the red carpet last night for the US Hot Hollywood Party in Los Angeles. Most starlets arrived in short dresses, with the style on the carpet fairly eclectic and overwhelmingly disappointing. We were expecting fashion forward, but what we got were mostly underwhelming (or, in some cases, over-the-top) looks. Keep reading to see which celebs were hot and which were not.

When you hit the red carpet in a dress made out of garbage bags, you can really only go up from there. While we didn't love Ke$ha's silver number, we can't help but acknowledge that it was a major improvement from some of her recent looks. Sure, the hair is um...a little out there, but hey, one step at a time, right? Joining Ke$ha on the carpet was fellow blond, Whitney Port. Whit was definitely one of our favorites of the night in a short, floral, long-sleeved dress, which she paired with a super-cute pair of booties.

As you've probably heard by now (or seen if you went to a midnight or 3 a.m. showing last night), "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" features the most intense make-out scene of the series between—surprise, surprise—Harry Potter and his BFF Hermione Granger. We won't ruin too many of the details surrounding the kiss, but let's just say all you fans hoping this means Harry and Hermione end up together in the end won't exactly be getting your way.

It wasn't until the day before Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson were supposed to shoot the scene that they found out that they would be filmed mostly naked (Emma got a strapless bra) and painted silver to heighten the intensity of the scene. "It was kind of weird. It is a bit like kissing your sister. But, you know, I don't have a sister, so that's why I can say that and I'm not creeped out by it," Dan told MTV News with a laugh.

Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal are ridiculously hot. And for this week's Entertainment Weekly cover, they're ridiculously naked. In fact, they are so hot and so naked that the editors couldn't decide on just one photo from their shirtless shoot to grace the cover; instead, they issued three different versions in order to bestow the maximum possible dosage of hot nakedness on the reading public.

And let's just say that the reading public is not complaining.

Anne and Jake shed their clothes to promote the release of their upcoming movie, "Love and Other Drugs," in which they'll be playing a sexually adventurous couple who are surprised to find themselves falling in love. And in a three-way interview with director Edward Zwick, the pair dish on connecting as friends, preparing for those steamy scenes and what kind of tape works best for covering up wayward naughty bits.

Step aside, "High School Musical," there's a new high school movie in town inspired by the one event we all know and love…"Prom."

Disney’s latest venture, due out April 2011, follows nine high school seniors, who are all trying to make the best of their one big night. Producers have cast a whole new set of mostly unknown actors to play the roles of the classic high school characters (i.e. archetypes) we've seen in so many movies over the years, like "Sixteen Candles" and "The Breakfast Club."
