We observed the 2 minute silence for Remembrance Day at work on the set of SHAMELESS – many thanks to our First Assistant Director, Simon Turner, for calling it. There was a time in Ireland when it was very unpopular to wear the poppy at all let alone with the pride it deserves and it’s only truly recently that it has become quite rightly accepted as a very legitimate thing to do. Since the successful release of their very impressive Not Not is Fine EP back in 2006, fans of Dublin three piece, Cap Pas Cap, have been waiting for what promised to be a stomper of a debut album. The game sold 5.6 million units when it went on sale on Tuesday, trouncing the previous 4.7 million record held by Modern Warfare. I’ve been playing WoW a lot in the run-up to the release of Cataclysm and not a lot of the players on my realm seemed to realise that you can now buy the Wrathful arena weapons and armour for honour. The items appear unavailable when you check the vendor: they are greyed out and have the red text ‘Requires battleground rating of 1800 personal and team arena rating of 1800′. But if you click the items you can buy them anyway with no problems provided you have enough honour. I’ve been gearing up all my different alts this way for the past week or so and it appears the greyed out text and requirements on the items is just a bug.
