Well that was entertaining. ‘Dick’ Griffin, as one audience member called him was about as uninspiring as could have been expected and seemed to take a perverse pleasure in metaphorically dropping his pants, inviting everyone to queue up to kick him.

Black to the future

For a change I was ahead of the curve. Everyone has been piling in to criticise the Australian TV show ‘Hey Hey Its Saturday’ after the appearance of a group of amateur entertainers called Jackson Jive on a special reunion edition of the old programme – but I have spent twenty years disliking the show!
White Christmas
December 10th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Politics
One organisation guaranteed to be hoping for a white Christmas are the BNP, who are apparently holding a Christmas party for their members in Sussex/Surrey in Crawley on Saturday. It’s a secret so not only do normal people not know where it is being held, except that it is within a mile of J10 of [...]
Drinking For England
November 20th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Politics
Hypothetically… would I be concerned if the leaked list of BNP members had one of them giving his address as a pub in Crawley? Not if it was one that was already on my mental list of places where I wouldn’t go for a beer if I was dying of thirst is the hypothetical answer [...]
Listed M.I.A.
November 20th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Politics
The leaked BNP membership list looks like being a story that is going to run for some time now – the epitome of the ‘gift that keeps on giving’ – and looks like saving us from having the media totally dominated by some fuss about a dancing competition on the TV. The whole circus is [...]

What to make of the ‘leaking’ of the BNP membership list? I totally agree that putting the list of BNP members online (here) is a bad thing to do. It would be bad enough publishing the home addresses, phone numbers and email addresses even of something totally innocent like a local amateur operatics society or [...]

Reading the G2 article today about how much race is an issue in the US elections I found myself coming to a surprising conclusion.
Reasons not to go back to Basildon…
May 1st, 2008 · No Comments · Politics
I lived in Basildon for the first 18 years of my life. It looks like the place has taken a turn for the worse since then, judging by this website (as found by Mike Ion). I’ve got issues with some of our local Tories, but almost without exception they are better than this one.
BNP Rattled?
April 17th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Politics
This evening somebody told me that, following the UAF’s visits to Bewbush, Ifield, West Green and Ifield West over the weekend to try and increase voter turnout at the elections, the BNP held a little protest at the Ifield shops.
The Jewish BNP vote
April 13th, 2008 · 38 Comments · Politics
When I saw this story in the paper the other day I really had to check it was April 10th and not April 1st, although anybody who tried to make it up as an April fool’s joke would have a pretty warped sense of humour. Apparently the BNP are now actively chasing the Jewish vote [...]
