Just a Picture I am Posting for No Particular Reason

You know, don't read into it too much or anything.

Not sure what gave me the idea.

steponthis.jpg

Does that alley look familiar to you?

It should.

Thanks to evil muse lauraw for suggesting the setting.

13 Here's a theory I am wondering about.

Many of the usual lefty MSM gasbags are talking about how the Tea Party candidates have made the GOP more "extreme."

However . . . many Blue Dogs and "moderate" Demotards were swept out of office last night, and most Democrat survivors are so mainly because they are safely ensconced in libtard/ethnic Bantustan districts.

So . . . isn't it in fact the Democrat Party that became more "extreme" last night?

Revenge is sweet in IL...of the nineteen congressional seats, 10 are in control of the R's and there's a nail-biter (with the R in the lead for now) for one more. 7 of the 8 D seats are located all (or mostly) in Crook County.  Kirk won "Obama's" seat and the gov's race is almost certainly going to involve a re-count....

59 Loyal Democrat Asshat,

We won.

Last night, the Tea Party Won. The Republicans Won. America Won. We Won.
Obama Lost.
Everybody knows this. It is sad that my home team (Massachusetts candidates) lost.
I very much wish they had won, and someday they will.
But, remember: even though Our 10 votes won't go to the Congress, 65 others will.
And whether those votes come from Indiana or Texas or Florida, they count every bit as much as the ones we might have won.
So for our country (taxes, the border, war & peace, etc.), we got the votes we needed to stop Obama. We won the House.
Governorships and legislatures and state offices everywhere.
We Won.
That doesn't erase the sting of having the Home Team losing. It sucks.
But this was essentially a National Election, right?
And, although our neighborhood didn't score, our team mates very certainly did.
We didn't win all we wanted where we wanted.
But We Did Win.
Think we didn't?
As Obama, whose agenda is history.
Ask Barney Frank, now a chairman of Nothing - just one of 435 ordinary Congressmen.
Ask Former House Speaker Bella Pelosi - from whose withered fingers we now get to wrench the speaker's gavel.
Massachusetts is Massachusetts.
My heart breaks for our guys who didn't prevail.
But the fact is, last night We Won.
Big.
And, starting today, we get to prepare to fight again.
And again.

It's funny, because they really should start their smears and memes now. Does he have a funny accent? Does his wife highlight her hair? Can one of his daughters be made out to be a skank? Oh, and he's not really Latino.

A doll wearing a dark blue suit and red tie, and with Mr Obama's face carefully screen-printed onto its head, was exhibited at the recent 8th Sex Culture Festival in the southern city of Guangzhou.

The doll was photographed by Chinese state media nestling behind several other standard plastic female toys.

Mr Obama is widely popular in China, and a "Maobama" t-shirt, bearing an image of his face crossed with a portrait of Chairman Mao, has become a best-seller.

The "responsibility not to block legislation" clause comes right after the "no obligation to listen to constituents" clause. Both are linked radio buttons in the document - IOW, when one is pushed "on", the other is auotmatically turned "off". It's a feature of the whole "constitution is a living document" point of view.
