A "MILE-high" sex romp involving a female Qantas employee and a male passenger is being investigated by the airline.

Sources told the Herald Sun the pair were sitting side by side in business class on a Melbourne-Los Angeles flight on October 6 when passion got the better of them.

The woman, not a flight attendant, was travelling to the US on a discounted staff ticket and drank several glasses of champagne before the incident.

The fondling began when the cabin lighting was turned down during the 11-hour trip. Other passengers complained the pair tried to hide the encounter beneath a blanket.

The pair were ordered to desist by the senior flight attendant, then ordered to sit in different sections of the plane.

Qantas would only say: "The matter is being dealt with. The employee has returned to work."

Meanwhile, two British lovers ended a night at a Pizza Express restaurant by having sex while passersby were watching from outside the closed restaurant, The Sun reported overnight.

The passionate pair were so overcome by lust that they forgot they could be seen through the window of the brightly-lit eatery.

Laughing crowds gathered outside - with many grabbing their camera phones to take photographs.

One witness to the incident, which occurred in Manchester, northern England, told how he and his friends had earlier spotted the pair kissing.

The witness said: "We just assumed it was a couple of the staff who'd got carried away. We popped into a club, then later walked past the same restaurant. Things had hotted up. The fella had his trousers round his ankles. Everyone was gobsmacked [speechless]. The whole place was brightly lit and we had a great view. There was an empty bottle of wine and two glasses on a table."

A shocked Pizza Express spokesman said, "We are obviously taking this seriously and looking into the matter immediately."

Why doesn't this happen to me? Perhaps this is a service airlines should offer, at additional cost of course.
