GRO-FUN aims to increase the amount of organic food growing & growers in local, urban neighbourhoods. We want to improve access to healthy, fresh food for all with minimum cost to the purse and the environment.

We have a dream of neighbours collectively growing & sharing their food; knowledge & tools, of schools that supply their own canteens with fresh produce, school grounds lively with 'gardeners of tomorrow' caring for their school veg patch & finally, of work-places where staff can enjoy relaxing, outdoor places where salad can be plucked & eaten.

We can help you get started.

GRO-FUN is a fantastic idea … it’s a simple, effective and fun solution to introducing people to growing in urban areas”. Alys Fowler, gardener and presenter of BBC2 Gardeners' World (also the founder of the first GROFUN replica, in Birmingham).

"The Many Hands scheme is such a genius idea". (Lia Leendertz, The Guardian)
