The Congress of Union Retirees of Canada acts as an advocacy organization to ensure that the concerns of union retirees and senior citizens are heard throughout Canada.

Since our founding in 1993, we have lobbied governments at all levels to advance the concerns of seniors and union retirees such as on the issues of pensions and pharmacare.

We know that good programs for seniors must be built on good policies for all workers so we have demonstrated and lobbied for good jobs, a fairer employment insurance program and day care that is available and affordable.
