Welcome! The Federation was founded in 1980. Our affiliates represent more than 8,500 members throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. In 1999 with the creation of a new territory, our name changed from NWT Federation of Labour to the Northern Territories Federation of Labour. We are proudly affiliated with the Canadian Labour Congress. Join us for NAOSH week barbecues, Labour Day and May 1 celebrations, Day of Mourning (April 28), safety training, elections training, and youth camps across the North. |
