Congratulations to all those involved in the Girls on Air Project (Awien pictured) and the Disability Day "Turn Up Your Radio" broadcasts - winners at the CBAA national awards on the weekend.
Girls on Air is the winner of the Excellence in Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasting Award and "Turn Up Your Radio" is winner of the Most Innovative Outside Broadcast or Special Event Broadcast.

3CR Station Manager Resigns

After nearly 5 years as Station
Manager and 9 years as Volunteer Training Coordinator Libby Jamieson has resigned. She will remain in the position until 24th December 2010 while the Committee of Management begins its
recruitment of a new manager.
3CR is seeking a new Station Manager

The Station Manager is responsible
for the overall day to day management of the station, including the coordination
of staff and ensuring access and equity for 3CR’s volunteer workers and
affiliates. The Manager also acts as the Executive Officer to the 3CR Committee
of Management and to Community Radio Federation.

3CR is in the running to win four national community broadcasting awards! The Community Broadcasting Association Awards will be announced on 23 October 2010 and we're finalists for Best New Program or Content Initiative with Living Music, Excellence in Training with the Summer Foundation Training Project, Most Innovative Outside Broadcast or Special Event Broadcast with Turn Up Your Radio and Excellence in Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasting with Girls on Air.
