The Junto is a library in Winnipeg specializing in rare, radical, and relevant books on the 2nd floor of the
Old Market Autonomous Zone at
91 Albert Street. Memberships to take out books are free, and we have sections on feminism, anarchism, food politics, DIY, queer writings, fiction, indigenous struggles, and more, including a massive zine library and movies/music.
We are run by a volunteer collective that is open to everyone. To join, you only need to attend one meeting and complete two volunteer training shifts. To read about special events in the space, check out
