riseup.net provides online communication tools for people and groups working on liberatory social change. We are a project to create democratic alternatives and practice self-determination by controlling our own secure means of communications.
We provide secure and private email accounts, accessible via the web, IMAP, or POP. Get help on mail. Login to webmail. Request a mail account. I forgot my password.
Mailing Lists
We provide emailing lists for activist organizations. Get help on lists. Login to lists. Request a list.
Support
Our extensive help pages contain all sorts of secret knowledge. Don't forget to check out our pages on email security, SSL certificates, mail client tutorials, viruses, and spam. Or, if you don't find what you are looking for, fill out a help ticket, and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
Other Services
Riseup also provides server colocation for activist groups, secure anonymizing google proxies, and a very large TOR exit node. Our sister organization, RiseupLabs, provides privacy and security patches, free/libre software development, and actively contributes to the Debian GNU/Linux operating system.
We have a whole bunch of other services in development, including real time chat (xmpp), collaborative document editing (etherpad), social networking, and encrypted internet proxy (openvpn). Contact us at collective@riseup.net if you would like to help test or work on these new services.
