QPIRG Resource Library

The QPIRG McGill resource centre is in the process of re-labeling all of the library books and dvds as well as designing a new classification system for our zine collection.

In order to do this with as much input and creativity as possible, we are looking to start a library collective. Interested individuals can help us with the classification work, assist in purchasing new materials, and take on projects of their own with the support of the resource centre. This is a great opportunity to get some experience in radical libraries and archiving and have a say in the changes happening at the QPIRG McGill resource centre.

If this sounds like something you would like to be involved in, send an email to qpirgmcgill_library@riseup.net telling us how you would like to get involved. We would like to have our first meeting within the next month, so let us know your availability (preferably Thursday or Friday evening or afternoon!).

The Senate Subcommittee on Women offers its support -and its thanks — to QPIRG for the group’s constant vigilance to ensure diverse voices are heard on campus. QPIRG helps sustain spaces in the public domain where all voices can speak, thereby promoting the free expression of — and vigorous debate about — ideas and issues that affect us all.
