Now That's Funny!

Through the winding trail leading from John Talley ("Indian World") and Louis Sowa, "Mitakuye Oyasin" (Dean Looking Hawk, Louis Sowa, and I) manged to hook up with one Gilbert Brown who is touring with a bunch of goof balls who call themselves the "Pow Wow Comedy Jam," to bring laughter to the world Indian Style.

It was a good radio show, but more importantly, this is going to be a good comedy show. They will be bringing their humor live to Portland, Oregon at the Jubitz Truck Stop off of exit 307 on I-5.

The crew of the "Pow Wow Comedy Jam" are Marc Yaffee, Vaughn Eaglebear, J.D. Redwater, and Jim Ruel, with Special guest Gilbert Brown. We interviewed Marc and Vaughn on the phone and Gilbert was in the studio LIVE AND IN PERSON. We had a great time!

These folks also have their own website called...wait for it...Joke Signals. Check it out. Then come on out to Jubitz Truck Stop, 33 NE Middlefield Rd. in Portland, Oregon on August 26 at 7pm and let some Indians make you laugh.

I don't know if they will be supplying frybread, so you may just want to bring your own.
