The Film Screening of the film Rethink Afghanistan (with introduction from Alan Simpson, and PowerPoint presentation of photos from ex-paratrooper Stuart Griffiths) was quite a success: about 40 people in the room, of whom the Afghani asylums seekers were most welcome!

The Chesterfield, Nottingham, Leicester coach took 41 people down to the Time to Go! (from Afghanistan) National Demonstration on 20 November. Full report on www.stopwar.org.uk

Organising Meeting

The Wednesday, 12 January meeting was called off because the ICC suffered a power cut that night and had to close. The meeting has been re-arranged for:

Nottingham Stop the War Coalition Organising Meetings are open to all. If you want to get involved with organising things, just turn up!

All our Organising Meetings are at 7:30pm in the International Community Centre (ICC) which is at 61b Mansfield Road. This is just up from the Victoria Centre and is opposite where the Woodborough Road joins the Mansfield Road.
