A bit about me

I live and work in Cambridge, England.

I have been a self-employed hack and pundit since leaving The Guardian in 1996.

I do stuff, like write for magazines, newspapers and websites, appear on radio and TV, speak at conferences and seminars and think about the way the network is changing the world. If you'd like me to speak at your event see my profile at The Excellent Voice.

I am the editor of a website for people who work for MPs, a member of the board of the Cambridge Film Trust and on the board of Writers' Centre Norwich

I get involved in politics and policy making, but try to be clear about what my interests are.

If you want to know more, you can read my essay on 'my life as a new media dog' over on the billblog.

Get in touch

I'm billt on Twitter and on Facebook. You can send me email at bill [at] andfinally [dot] com, find me on Second Life under the nom-de-guerre 'Thom Rimbaud', view my Flickr feed or check out my schedule on 30Boxes.

Getting spam from andfinally ?

If you're here because you are getting spam that appears to come from 'andfinally.com' then I apologise - some nasty people are forging the domain in their email and there's nothing I can do about it. The nice people at speed.net have a good explanation of what's going on.
