Classé X - Classé X (1984)

Classé X were "typical happy" coldwave band from Toulouse (I think the reason is in their early years, when they were associated with the city punk scene).
Personally I note that B-side (4-7) is more driven than poppy and "minstreled" A-side (1-3).
Band's myspace.
Enjoy!

01) Federico Fellini
02) Four Hours To Die
03) Myself In The Mirror
04) Dancing With The Ghost

Antibiøtik - Istanbul (1986)

This month's pearl. A find of finds!
Fantastic work which was released by Slim Productions (famous with Excès Nocturne's first vinyl) as a second and last one from Antibiøtik. Maybe you'll find it a little naïve, but the thing would never dissapoint you!
Enjoy!

Tracklist:
01) Istanbul (Remix)
02) Sarah

No Critics - November (1990)

These german guys were something between classic post-punk area (Joy Division, In Camera) and deutschpunk/depropunk, such as EA80 or Fliehende Stürme. Slight bass structures + dreamy synthetic features made this work very unusual amongst other german gothic rock bands. Also you may find Bauhaus likeness along some songs ("Dance", "Young Hearts Fail").
Enjoy!

Tracklist:
01) War
02) November
03) Dance
04) No Critics
05) Deep In My Heart

Noir De Soie - Grateful Grins (1992)

(sorry, only the back sleeve)

Absurd music for absurd people.
Saying seriously, there was (or maybe is?) an avantgarde coldwave band from Genève, Switzerland. In my humble opinion, they should be strongly recommended to Coil fans (of "Love's Secret Domain" era).
All I know (and all you may find) of them lies here.
Enjoy!

Trecklist:
01) Rumours (Ombres)
02) Le Diable Probablement

Brød & Sirkus - Far Familie Flagg (1982)

The only album by this obscure wave band from Norway.
A great requiem for all who lost its joy in a fire of despair (just like I did).
Yes, you should love only those, who would love you the whole life.
Enjoy!

Second 7inch-vinyl of this coldwave pearl from Toulouse.
Nowhere to hide from its cold synths, wavy guitars and dramatic vocals.
Enjoy!

If you liked this 7" then buy a CD at Infrastition (that is all you need for being happy).

"Unreleased Volume II" compilation (1988)

A masterpiece compilation from Présage. Despite the fact that first VA from the "Unreleased" series was the one hundred percent wave-ish stuff, this one presents more alternative forms such as gothic rock and indie.
Enjoy!

Die Atlantikschwimmer - Die Atlantikschwimmer (cassette, 1983)

The first release of this fantastic (and, probably, one of my all-time favourite) NDW band. Released as cassette in 1983 by Kassetto Fix. Just one thing to know is that the song "Ich Zeige Dir" is an early version of "Komm Mit Mir", which appeared on the only vinyl record "Die Atlantikschwimmer".
Enjoy!

Tracklist:
01) Immerzu
02) Abendvorstellung
03) Keine Antwort Auf Brennende Fragen

Da - Time Will Be Kind (1982)

Fantastic Chicago goth/punk band, which music had flirted with art-rock/no wave.
I've posted their first 7" some time ago.
Think about the day Bush Tetras meet Siouxsie & The Banshees and then give a listen to this american perfection.
Enjoy!

Tracklist:
01) Next To Nothing
02) Strangers
03) Silent Snow
04) Three Shadows

Kekko Bravo - Je Laisse Mes Marques (1985)

Fabulous act from Tours, which late song I have recently posted here.
The second song should be coldwave classics.
Shiny and light, not so sombre as their one from "Orcades Machinales, Vol. 1".
Enjoy!

Tracklist:
01) Je Laisse Mes Marques
02) La Ville De Nos Rêves
