evening all.got this collection recently on a cd-r sent to me by james in hastings.(cheers mate for this!)its a 23 track collection of studio demos,instrumentals and all that sort of thing.as the more alert of you will have noticed its labelled part2,so im assuming someone out there in interweb land has part1.if so it would be really great if you could point the muebles listeners in the right direction.i have no other info on this post im afraid so its up to you now to listen,dance,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

evening all.just got back today from a weekend in dublin and while i was there got a cd of odds 'n sods from my mate gibbo.first up is a video from the specials show at the paredes de coura festival recently.im guessing its a fan shot video but its great quality in both audio and video.a word of warning though,this isnt the full show unfortunately but the first 3 songs only.you get 'do the dog,'dawning of a new era' and 'gangsters'.im assuming that the original recorder did the whole show so im wondering if anyone out there in interweb land has a recording of it?if so please get in touch with a link etc.thanks very much.so then put this on a disk,watch it on your 50" plasma cinemascopic fuel injected surround sound 3d televisual image projecting units,dance around and then leave a comment.thanks!

Ska Madness - 20 Reggae Classics

as the title says this compilation consists of '20 reggae classics which inspired the 2-tone revolution.'this one was a bugger to rip as you will see when you open the folder.the music is great but even though the cd didnt add the titles and i spent ages typing it in by hand it still didnt seem to save them.anyway i was also unable to scan the covers as the scanner is connected to my wifes mac computer and i dont know how to use that!.duh.the cover you get is only the front one that i found on the interweb.sorry about that folks

anyhoo you do get original versions of classic tracks like 'message to you rudy','jackpot','fattie fattie','monkey man' etc etc .its a brilliant listen that you all need to have.right then,all thats left is to listen,enjoy,do the ska and leave a comment.thanks!

P.I.L - Commercial Zone

an interesting post for all the p.i.l fans out there in interweb land.its an album of studio recordings by pil recorded in 82-83 and released in 83 by guitarist keith levene.basically after he left the band he did a bunk to new york with the master tapes and sold the rights to the material and had several hundred copies pressed onto vinyl without permission from any of the other p.i.l band members.anyway this set includes five songs that were re-recorded for p.i.ls 4th album so this is almost a demo/early version type of thing of that album.anyhoo id like you all to listen,enjoy and then should you so desire leave a comment.thanks!
