The Honey Turtles were a baggy band that existed in the early 90’s who came from the Wolverhampton area. It was the era of the Madchester sound…shuffly drum beats and wah wah guitars. Biggest claim to fame was probably supporting The Charlatans on their first UK headlining tour at the start of the 90's. The band also supported the Stone Roses, Ned's Atomic Dustbin, Blue Aeroplanes and the Mighty Lemon Drops amongst others. They released one great single "Don't You Know" and white label promo with remixes of this track.
Before one year i received email by Marc Newey (singer/songwriter in The Honey Turtles) and he says that they recorded other tracks that were never released on vinyl. That will be interesting to find.
