Things sure have been quiet around here, huh? We’ve practically been in hibernation for the last six months (explanation follows), but with the launch of this site, we hope to bring you up to speed about the new album we’re working on. For now this is just a blog, but we will gradually expand with new features.

The times they are a changin’, and so are we. We have been working on this, our third, album for around six months, and things are starting to come together. We have had a lot of semi-existential talks, in an effort to get back in sync with each other. For the last two-three years we have done nothing but touring, so no new material was written, no songs were made, and there was certainly no time to hang around in a studio. As you might have noticed we haven’t played a show anywhere (except for one in Århus) for a very long time. This has been a conscious decision, as we maybe felt we were over-playing ourselves. It was a way for us, to avoid being fed up with it all, and to prevent fatigue in the the band.

After a relatively long break apart from each other, we booked a few weeks in a studio in Copenhagen. We had no new material, and no common ground to stand on. The last time we did an album, everything just came out of nowhere, and suddenly we had the material. This time around, things have proven to be a little different.

Right now we are focusing on trying to figure out what the soundscape for the album is and where we want to go with this, our third album. These are exciting times for us.
