Amazing, Frightening Happy Meal Project
You probably knew Happy Meals aren't good for you, but who knew they'd look the same after six months sitting out on a coffee table? Sally Davies bought a Happy Meal back in April, left it on her coffee table, and took pictures of it every day. Six months later, it looked...well, pretty much the way it did on Day 1. Gizmodo turned the photos into a time-lapse video and says, "What I want to know now is what kind of technology does McDonald's use to create these things. Is a Happy Meal scientifically considered inert matter? Is it made of carbon-based polymers? Can it be recycled into jet fuel? They taste marginally better than asbestos, so it must be okay to use them to build houses." "Phew, thank god they did this experiment with a Hamburger and not nuggets. Friends No More: Courteney Cox, David Arquette Split; Schwimmer Gets Married
Today, a burst of news about former Friends stars: first of all, Courteney Cox and David Arquette have split up, after 11 years of marriage. Arquette immediately called into the Howard Stern Show, reports TMZ, and "explained that he and Courteney stopped having sex around one month before they started shooting 'Scream 4' in Michigan ... and drifted from there. He also claims Courteney was the one who insisted they try separating right after their 11th wedding anniversary back in June ... after she told David that she was 'tired of being your mother.'" Radar Online says "Courteney Cox and David Arquette lived an 'open marriage' in the months before their sudden and shocking split, according to multiple sources close to the pair." "I really don't know what to say. I always felt like his quirky personality perfectly played off her uptight Monica-ishness," writes Viceland Today. Well, at least there's good news about Ross--David Schwimmer, rather, secretly married British photographer Zoe Buckman, says EW.com. In June!
