Director Hirokazu Koreeda, of "Nobody Knows" fame, explores the loneliness of urban life in his new flick "Air Doll" via everyday phenomena like a life-size inflatable doll that can become human! So human she goes outside, behind her owner's back. (and to him too, she never appears in human form!)
Anyway, this two-timing doll develops a soul and falls in love with a video store clerk!
(How the hell did Paris Hilton get into this movie?)Interesting but flawed. And very long! ... No, I'm not talking about the blow-up doll!
As an aside, I'm not sure if this film is based on real events! However, in the off-chance that they can invent human dolls in Japland, can I have three of the Maria Ozawa model please. Oh, and two of the Reon Kadena model also!
