IPCC Conclusions on Raoul Moat’s Death

July 11, 2010

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) have announced that they are to open an official inquiry into the final moments of the standoff between armed officers and Raoul Moat after it emerged that a 50,000-volt charge from a Taser stun gun may have been responsible for ‘nutty’ Moat shooting himself.

Completely sane and reliable police officers like the guy in this picture…

"Grrrr, go ahead punk. Make my day."

…will come under scrutiny as the ICC report on Moat’s death will decide whether…

a) Moat shot himself and then some bastard tasered him.

or

b) Some bastard tasered him which led to moat shooting himself.

Either way they will be forced to conclude what we already know, that ALL COPPERS ARE BASTARDS ;-)

We’re in no way defending Moat, but we know that this IPCC report is going to be an expensive waste of time, because even when the police kill innocent people like Jean Charles de Menezes or Ian Tomlinson justice is never served.

Not a good look – this officer’s face has been pixallated out now on the main news channels, but if there were any bastards about yesterday it was our man Moat himself! What a toerag! If it is the latter, Moat shot himself, then he was tasered… 1. Did the officers react instinctively to the shot? 2. How would anyone like to be armed only with a Taser when some violent, murdering, steroid enhanced neanderthal is sat a few feet away, armed with a shooter? 3. If he had already topped himself, then where is the harm in making sure he’s dead? If it is the former, 1. The police have saved the taxpayer a load of cash, by making sure Moat didn’t occupy a cell for the rest of his life. 2. Moat was a scumbag. 3. Moat was a scumbag who shot innocent people, including the police officer who had nothing to do with Moat and was blissfully unaware of his existence – until the moment Moat shot him. 4. The police were bound to be criticised one way or the other – its the fashionable thing to do – everyone likes kicking the police it seems, no matter how hard they try, but at least they tried to negotiate with him, and hindsight, sat in a comfortable chair, in the warm and dry and many miles from the drama is the easy option.

Some twisted bastards seem to think Moat was some sort of hero. So if he’d shot their sister because she’d dumped him then they’d still think that would they? Arseholes the lot of them. Guy lived like a twat and died like a cunt.
    Result!

  4. Rawl Scroat was undoubtedly a prick. But the way things ended meant that his victims were denied real justice.

From the off Moat was after ‘death by cop’, like some sad, macho wild-west gunfighter. In fact he got his wish at the hands of cops from Wild-West-Yorkshire (renowned for shooting first and asking questions later).

Justice would have seen a court case and Moat facing his greatest fear; a life confined to prison or a psychiatric ward.
