We're Back (on the Big House)

We are back on the Big House on Saturday 22 January and hopefully this will be the first of a few gigs on the pub for this year. It's always been a great night when we've played in the past, and hopefully this one will be no exception.

Also, just to let you all know that hopefully we wil have a few new (old) videos for you in the coming weeks. TC has managed to get hold of a video made at St Georges Hall back in the 80s and he is currently editing the old footage. As soon as its ready we will put it on YouTube and link from this site, so check here for details in the coming weeks.

Xmas Dates

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Xmas from the Vis.

Just to let you all know that the Big House gig is off, but we can confirm that we are playing Cookies on New Years Eve. Last year was a brilliant night so be sure to get down there for the best way to celebrate seeing the back of another bad year (just guessing).

We have some new dates for next year which will be published here as soon as the details are finalised.

So all the best from the boys in the band, and we'll see you next year, hopefully.

About Vis Update

The About Vis section has been updated with some recent discoveries from the wonderful "Sellwood Collection". A band family tree has now been included, along with a list of some of the venues that the band played between 1985 and 2000.

The collection also contained adverts and articles from the Liverpool Echo and Bootle Times going back to 1985, and will be featured on the website in the near future.

Vis Venues

Hopefully you will have noticed the list of venues that the band have played since 1985, in the 'About Us' section of the website. Some of these venues were played over 100 times, and in recognition of that, this months poll is asking you to vote for your favourite Vis venue. Obviously all the venues couldn't be included, so it's just the ones we played the most over the years.

Last Chance

Just to let you all know that we have a gig at Cookies on Saturday 25 September. This is currently our last gig until christmas, so it could be you last chance to see us for a while, although it is likely that we will arrange a few other gigs between now and then with Cookies and the Big House (but you never know).

Its always a great night, so do your best to get there and support your local pub and bands.
